Your conversations are deeply personal. We built Reese knowing how sensitive these topics are, and we treat your privacy accordingly.

1. Data Collection

We collect the following data when you use Reese:

  • Account information provided through our authentication provider (Clerk), such as your email address.
  • Messages and conversations you have with Reese.
  • Profile information you optionally provide (e.g., details about people in your life).
  • Usage data (time of visit, device type, pages viewed) for analytics via PostHog.
  • Payment information processed securely through our payment provider (Paddle). We do not store your card details.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the Reese service. Your conversations are processed automatically by AI — no human reads your messages. We process conversations using third-party AI providers who are bound by data processing agreements.

We do not sell your personal data or conversation content.

3. Data Retention

Your conversation history is stored on our servers so you can access past sessions at any time. You can delete individual conversations or your entire account data by contacting us.

We do not use your conversation content for AI model training or marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

Reese uses the following third-party services to operate:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management.
  • AI language model providers — processing for conversations.
  • Paddle — subscription billing and payments.
  • PostHog — product analytics (anonymized usage data).
  • Railway — application hosting and infrastructure.

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy and is contractually bound to protect your data.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Know that your conversations are never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.
  • Export your data upon request.
